For the compatibility of the Customer Price Rules and the Percentage Tier Pricing module are listed the following case scenarios.

CASE 1: If two rules affect same customer and the rules are set to be applied to an individual customer and “apply highest discount” setting is enabled, the proper highest discount is shown.

Configuration- Applying two rules to same customer

Frontend- Applying two rules to same customer, with “Apply Highest Discount” enabled

Setting “Apply Highest Discount” enabled

CASE 2: If two rules affect same customer and the rules are set to be applied to an individual customer and “apply highest discount” setting is disabled, the magneto default behavior is taken in account, and the two rules are applied.

Configuration- Applying two rules to same customer

Frontend- Applying two rules to same customer, with “Apply Highest Discount” disabled

Setting “Apply Highest Discount” disabled

CASE 3:  If two rules affect same customer and the rules are set to be applied to an individual customer and apply highest discount is disabled, and there is a special price which is lower than the catalog rule price, the special price will be shown on frontend and the tier prices set for that product are based on the lowest discount price- special price in the case.

Configuration- Applying two rules to same customer

Setting “Apply Highest Discount” disabled

Configuration – Product with a special price set

Frontend – Product Page, Product with a special price (120$) which is lower than the customer rules discount price applied (150$).

In conclusion, the tier prices are based to the lowest discount price.

The Percentage Tier Price module adds an opportunity for adding a percentage discount of the Magento price in the “Type” field column on the Product Edit page in admin.
